Deftones have been my favorite band ever since I was a teenager. I first heard the opening notes of "Change (In The House of Flies)" on the radio in the car coming back from a middle school field trip. It really helped change (oh) my music taste as I was only just starting to get into rock music at the time. I was also big into Linkin Park. Soon after I got the edition of White Pony that had "Back To School (Mini Maggit)" on it, which I loved (also, this album has "RX Queen" on it which is of course the namesake of this site). I also downloaded songs from Adrenaline and Around The Fur (although I didn't have every song from the latter) and the song that most stuck out to me was "7 Words." The first new album I experienced as a fan would be the self-titled. The sound of the album really resonated with me for some reason, and it helped me be more creative with graphic design and such (too bad I don't have any of my old graphics to show). Then came Saturday Night Wrist which did have songs I liked on it (particularly "Beware" and "Hole In the Earth"). I lost a little bit of interest in them, but then I saw them live for the first time in October 2010 (for the Diamond Eyes tour) and they officially went on to become my all-time favorite band. I've seen them twice more in June 2011 (and got to meet and hug them all!) and May 2016.

this ranking was super hard for me and is still subject to change lmao

Favorite song

Knife Party at the Niko

It's based on a actual party Abe and I invented. It's kind of spooky, but it's kind of funny in the way it all came about. Abe ended up getting hurt at the last knife party, so I don't think we'll be having one for awhile. I made up this fake scenario of some kind of underworld society of knives, people who just get off on these erotic fantasies or something like that. An 'Eyes Wide Shut' kind of thing.
